The people we are in relationship with
are always a mirror, reflecting our own beliefs,
and simultaneously we are mirrors, reflecting their beliefs.
So… relationship is one of the most powerful tools for growth…
If we look honestly at our relationships,
we can see so much about how we have created them.

Sometimes I really believe that there was a reason that avatars such as Christ and Buddha were purportedly single.
I mean, can you really have a romantic relationship with another human being and remain on a higher spiritual plane? Is it possible to contemplate the mysteries of the universe while someone is getting on your freakin’ nerves!?
And yet, God in Her wisdom knew that it was this very tool that could be used to catapult us into our greatness. Albeit, screaming and flailing uncontrollably…. but I digress.
Being in close proximity with the Other who is really you afterall has got to be the most cleverly designed tool ever invented in the transformation toolbox!
There is an axiom which says that “Love brings up all that is unlike itself.” It comes up not because, “your mate just doesn’t understand you”… but because it is an opportunity for healing what you don’t know or understand about yourself.
Choose to be the Conscious Observer the next time one of these opportunities comes up. Look into your mirror (the face of your significant other) and see what you might be able to makeover.
Give up having to be right! Even if you are. LOL!
Get off of your position! And you’ll see that the world will not stop spinning on it’s axis.
When I master this, I can see the shift happen and just like that, there is an opening. An opening creates room for what is possible.
And two… become the One.
And that my friends is the definition of living single.
I’m pretty sure Jesus and Buddah had girlfriends. LOL!
